Relationship With Money: Mindsets & Wellness

Everybody has a distinctive perspective on their relationship with money as they get mature. Some have the greatest impact, some the least, and some have no bearing whatsoever. These three situations are based on the different kinds of experiences that people have had and how they perceive them. Some people may be so fortunate that they aren’t even required to consider it, while others may not have it and are pursuing it, still others may be content with what they already have, or it may just not matter in that person’s life. Therefore, everyone has a different relationship with money, perspective, and method of handling it based on what they have seen and experienced.

Indeed, money is necessary for many different kinds of purposes, including eating, travelling, paying for medical expenses, paying for education, and purchasing a number of other necessities for daily living and more. However, the amount of money needed varies depending on the individual. While 50 lakh can be sufficient for some, 50 crore might not be enough for others. Each person’s desires and requirements determine how much money they need, how much they have, and how much they own. But it is not just about the money; it is also about the time you should spend with your family and give to yourself. Additionally, having only money by itself won’t provide you happiness and tranquilly.

Unhealthy Relationship With Money

Many people in today’s world have a terrible relationship with money, believing that all of the issues they face stem from not having enough of money. This leads to feelings of disarray, melancholy, and disruptive behaviour.  In this case, there are two outcomes to these circumstances. One is that individuals wanted to become so rich that they won’t have to worry about it and will do anything to earn it, hoping for gathering enough wealth to put an end to his concerns. Another is that you’re allowing it to affect you in any manner, be it happiness, sadness, or simply allowing it to rule your life and play with your mind.

Healthy Relationship With Money

Money is undoubtedly crucial because it drives many things, but it’s not so vital that you have to sacrifice everything, including your inner peace, for it. To pay for necessities, one must work hard and pursue multiple sources of income until they are content and at peace with themselves. The greatest things you can have, are contentment, happiness, and tranquilly. Other than that, you may simplify your lifestyle if you have less money. In this world, you don’t need validation from anyone. There’s no reason to brag about anything. You ought to appraise money until it meets all your fundamental needs. So, build a healthy relationship with money.

Finally, I would want to add that although money is important, try not to let it control you. Ascertain that you will have inner serenity. Never allow anyone to evaluate you or seek approval from anyone based only on how much money you make. Maintain a positive relationship with money because having a bad relationship with money or earning it may eventually break you down and ruin your peace of mind.
